My privacy & dataYour private information
Your profile, conversations, prayer requests, guided journey, registrations and church connections are stored to provide the services you choose. Your Journey is private: we do not publish faith scores, personal faith timelines or lists of followers.
Consent and sharing
Contact permission and permission to share a particular request are separate. Conversations and prayers are private by default. When you choose human help, approved responders see only consent-scoped requests; pastoral and safeguarding access require specialist approval. A selected church receives the referral information you approved after it accepts. Event organizers see the registration information you agreed to share.
Changing your choices
The signed-in Privacy & data centre shows contact consent, communication preferences, sharing and dated history. Withdrawal blocks future access to the shared request or church snapshot. It cannot recall information someone already received. Turning off human follow-up withdraws current responder sharing; allowing it again does not automatically re-share earlier requests.
AI-assisted conversations
LightPath uses an AI service to generate conversation replies, and responders may request AI-assisted drafts for shared requests they are authorized to handle. AI is not a substitute for professional or emergency help. Human responder drafts require review and are not automatically sent.
How LightPath’s AI works
LightPath answers from short teaching passages that two different platform administrators have checked and approved, each linked to a named source. When an answer uses one, you see “Based on” with that source; if nothing approved fits, it gives a careful general answer and never invents a source. It follows written guidance rules — no prophecy, pressure, guaranteed outcomes or judgements about anyone’s salvation — and fixed safety rules that point to emergency help and a real person. You can flag any answer as inaccurate or concerning for human review. Reviewers do not see names, and content from private pastoral or safety-linked conversations stays hidden. The platform team can pause AI answers at any time; “Talk to a person” remains available.
Your copy and corrections
You can correct your profile and prepare a personal download of supported account records. The download omits credentials, other people’s identity, internal reviewer notes, restricted safeguarding assessments, organization-owned publishing records and verification documents. Keep downloaded prayer and conversation information private.
Deletion and retained records
You can remove eligible conversations or submit and cancel an account-deletion request. A request does not immediately remove your account. Conversations linked to responders or referrals are retained as restricted safety records; organization responsibilities may also need review. Retention periods and the final removal process require owner review before launch.
Guest sessions
Guest LightPath access uses a device-held reference. Account controls and downloads cover records linked to your signed-in account, not unlinked guest sessions. Losing that reference can prevent recovery of a guest conversation.
Administrative access
General platform administrators manage operational information, not raw pastoral or prayer content. Compliance review of deletion requests requires separately approved permission, with access and review recorded. Ministry dashboards use aggregate figures rather than personal faith profiles.
This describes current product controls. It is not a certification of legal compliance. Legal policy, retention periods and a dedicated privacy contact still require owner review before launch.
